About the Role

The School of Politics and International Relations is pleased to announce that we are seeking two exceptional scholars to take up the position of Lecturer in Social/Public Policy.

The postholders will contribute to the intellectual life of the School, Faculty and University, and the wider research fields of Social and Public Policy. They will work with a diverse community of colleagues and students to deliver excellent teaching and research in the fields of Social/Public Policy.

About You

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Social Policy/Public Policy/Political Science/International Relations or relevant Social Sciences/Humanities area. You will have a developing reputation for internationally excellent research and high-quality publications. You will teach and convene modules in Social and/or Public Policy, offer research supervision and contribute more broadly to teaching and research within the School. You will have an understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in teaching a diverse student cohort.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time permanent appointment with an expected start date of September 1st 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £42,433 - £44,807 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
