Applications are invited for the post of Curriculum Operations and Quality Assurance Manager (Malta) on a permanent or fixed-term basis (applicant request) on a QMUL Malta Ltd contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join the QMUL Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Malta campus.
We are seeking a dynamic, independent and strategically aware individual to join our management team. The post holder will assist with oversight of key parts of the Professional Services team, and will provide leadership and operational management of the Curriculum Administrative Team. The post holder will manage the administration of all curriculum operations, including induction & enrolment, timetabling, clinical placements, assessment, student support and student records. They will also manage the administration of recruitment, appointment, induction and appraisal of clinical teachers. Working alongside the Deputy Dean they will be responsible to develop and manage a Quality Assurance Portfolio and manage the organisation of external audits. The Curriculum & Quality Manager will additionally be required to work closely with the Operations Manager, on a significant number of jointly-responsible activities.
This role forms part of an expanding team, and as a result the duties and responsibilities of QMUL Malta posts will necessarily cover a greater breadth and variety than similar roles in QMUL London or in other universities. Applicants therefore need to be able to demonstrate considerable flexibility, drive, and sensitivity to strategic priorities. The role will be based at QMUL Malta, with regular ongoing contact between relevant teams and stakeholders in both Malta and in the UK, as well as occasional travel between Malta and London.
This post will be employed by QMUL Malta Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Queen Mary University of London and will be based in Malta. The post is full-time and based upon a notional 35 hrs per week. The salary range is €35,000 - €37,000 per annum. Benefits include 30 days annual leave.
