A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Biological and Experimental Psychology in the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences (SBCS) to work with Dr Versace and collaborators on an ESRC funded project in data collection and analysis of behavioural data on “Augmented feedback to enhance motor and artistic learning during social distancing”.
The post holder will provide research and technical support in the area of Psychology of Education and Sports Psychology (e.g. assist researchers in remote experimental setting and data collection, assist participants in their experimental setting via remote data collection tools, uploading and storing audio/video materials, analysis of audio/video material, data analysis of behavioural data with R or SPSS).
You should have a relevant BSc/BA and MSc degree, confidence with statistical analysis and report on psychological data (e.g. mixed-design ANOVA, logistic regression, visual prepresenation of data using software such as R and/or SPSS), good interpersonal skills to support participants and collaborate with the team members, ability to maintain good laboratory records, ability to follow research protocols and to produce clear oral and written reports.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a fixed-term post for 12 months until 31st December 2021 and is offered on a part-time basis (28 hours per week). The salary will be in Grade 4, within the range of £31,613 - £33,324 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
