The Department of Biology at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) invites applications for a fixed-term Lectureship position in Biology to provide teaching cover. The successful applicant should be an enthusiastic and experienced teacher with expertise in Statistics, Ecology and General Biology. Candidates should have a PhD in Biological Sciences and / or relevant professional qualification and / or equivalent professional experience.
You will be based in the Department of Biology, part of the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences (SBCS). The School is a large and expanding academic unit which provides a supportive and friendly environment and encourages interdisciplinary research.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time, fixed term appointment for 12 months as a result of maternity cover. The expected start date is early 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £42,433 - £44,807 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
