About the Role
The purpose of the role is to undertake research investigations in collaboration with and under the supervision of investigator Dr Andrew McPherson in order to realise the objectives of the EPSRC research grant Design for Virtuosity: Modelling and Supporting Expertise in Digital Musical Interaction (EP/N005112/1).
Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science, Electric/Electronic Engineering or a related field. You should have a strong publication record and practical experience in the area of Accessible Digital Musical Instrument design. General knowledge of physical fabrication technique would be an advantage.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a part time (17.5 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 6 months, with an expected start date of 01 January 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 4, £34,220 - £38,084 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
