About the Role
Queen Mary University of London wishes to appoint a Projects Facilitator within the ‘Cardiovascular Devices Hub’ (CVDHub).  The aim of the CVDHub is to contribute to combatting CV disease by engaging SME industries in the development, trialling and manufacture of CV devices for their clinical treatment of patients that may otherwise remain untreatable via extant means.  This role is to facilitate and manage the development of these new ideas.

About You
The CVDHub is seeking a self-motivated clinician with a passion for contributing to the development of new ideas and innovation. This role will not be responsible for conducting research but will be important in supporting and bringing together the stakeholders in this research.

As one of the largest of the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s six Institutes, the William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI), based at Queen Mary’s Charterhouse Square campus, is a world leading Pharmacological Centre with a vibrant, multidisciplinary research and education environment devoted to therapeutic innovation in cardiovascular, endocrine and inflammatory diseases.
The Cardiovascular Devices Hub (CVDHub) is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) award providing for the creation of a unique, one-stop Cardiovascular Device and Therapeutic Innovation Centre ‘CVDHub’.

The post is based at the West Smithfield Campus in London. It is full time, fixed term until 31 December 2021, with the start date as soon as possible. The starting salary will be in the range of £38,084 - £39,125 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
