About the Role

Post-holders will be expected to provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support and advice to approximately 400 users.  You should have experience of working in an IT support role, ideally in a multi-user environment on a PC platform, along with previous experience of supporting users in an Active Directory environment. Additionally, experience of working with both PC and Mac platforms and using Citrix, RSA 2FA, Sophos Endpoint security/encryption, SCCM, VMware (ESX server) would be an advantage.

About You

Applicants must be educated to A Levels (Grades A-C) or NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 in relevant subject(s). A relevant Professional qualification (e.g. ITIL) would be an advantage. Post-holder must have a good understanding of computer hardware and software. Fluency in English, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users are essential.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date in December 2020. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £27,742 - £34,220 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
