About the Role
Residential Support offers support to 3000 students living in QM Halls. We are seeking to appoint a Residences Operations Manager who will lead in forging robust service level agreements with the key service providers to ensure a high level of customer service to a range of customers throughout the year. The post holder will ensure services provided by Cleaning, Maintenance and Security are maintained to a high standard and fully compliant to all required health and safety standards.
The post holder will live permanently on site and take part in an on- call out of hour rota (currently one week in 3) and be able to respond and provide solutions to any issues which occur with building issues or student support issues. The post holder will also have overall responsibility for the main Residences Reception on the Mile End campus, which operates 24/7 and provides a service to approximately 3000 residents across 4 sites.
You will have substantial experience in customer service and stakeholder management and be capable of taking a strategic approach to review all standards throughout halls and take the lead in raising the level of customer service provided. Experience of dealing with Mental Health and support issues is a requirement of the post as is a full awareness of all related health and safety legislation.
You will ensure there is a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all students and commercial guests, particularly at the moment in line with COVID 19 Health and safety measures.

The post will require travelling across all sites. It is full-time role(35 hours per week), and permanent The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,084 - £44,087 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. A furnished one bedroomed flat is also provided as part of the benefits package
