About the Role

The Reward Administrator plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the University’s reward and promotion processes. This includes ensuring all processes are arranged on time and in line with the guidelines. The jobholder provides support to all stakeholders in the processes, including Vice-Principals, senior leaders, the HR team, applicants for Academic Promotion, and those eligible for other reward processes. A key aspect is taking full and accurate minutes of panel meetings.

The jobholder works closely with the Reward and Benefits Manager in delivering all reward activities; including job grading, salary benchmarking, statutory Pay Gap reporting, and employee communications.

About You

You will have experience in HR administration ideally within the University sector, including using Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems. You will have Excel expertise to intermediate level and experience in collating, maintaining and deploying data-sets. With effective communication skills, you will provide support to a range of stakeholders at all levels, and convey information about reward processes in a clear, concise way. With a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, you will have a flexible, professional and methodical approach to work, and work on your own initiative. You will apply appropriate judgement in a range of work situations and prioritise appropriately at times of pressure.

The post is based at Queen Mary’s Mile End campus in London. It is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range £27,742 to £34,220 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
