About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Early Years Practitioner to undertake the day-to-day running of their designated room: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Practitioners and helping to ensure that their jobs are done to the highest possible standard, to model good practice and be someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate others in a team environment. As a key person you will be required to plan activities and experiences for the children based on their needs and interests, to keep children’s records and oversee those of their team to ensure quality. To safeguard that all policies and procedures within the nursery are adhered to, including that effective health and safety procedures are carried out in the room and the outside environment.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, experience of working within a senior nursery position, experience as a Room Leader or Acting Room Leader, in addition to a good knowledge of the EYFS.
This appointment is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The post is full time (40 hours per week), permanent appointment. Starting salary will be in the range of £31,705 - £39,109 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
