About the Role

The Office of the Principal wishes to appoint an Executive Officer to provide high-level support to the Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation), facilitating effective strategic planning and strategy execution through the management of a wide portfolio of activities and projects involving research and analysis; internal and external communications; and the management of complex internal and external processes, for which decision-making powers will be delegated to the postholder.

About You

This position requires that the post-holder exercise substantial discretion and independent judgement, relating to the work undertaken by the Vice-Principal. The post-holder will act with a high degree of initiative and autonomy in organising and prioritising personal workload, recognising that the role entails managing a range of tasks at any one time, while exercising discretion and independent judgement.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time permanent appointment/fixed term appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 7, in the range of £55,840 - £62,415 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
