About the Role

CCLS is looking to recruit a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to develop, manage and deliver commercial law training programmes for the professional and executive education markets, including distance learning and clinical legal education programmes.

About You

You will hold a PhD and / or relevant professional qualification and / or equivalent professional experience. You should be able to demonstrate relevant experience with an appropriate publication record, together with experience of teaching at postgraduate level.  Excellent communication and organisational skills, are also essential

The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) was established in 1980 and has become one of the world’s leading academic institutions for the study of commercial law.  The primary objectives of the Centre are to conduct scholarly research of international excellence, to contribute to the shaping of public and commercial policy, and to provide teaching of the highest quality at post-graduate level.  CCLS covers the whole spectrum of commercial law, including arbitration, banking and finance, energy, intellectual property, international trade, media and communications, shipping, insurance, regulation, ethics, and tax.

The post is based at the Lincoln’s Inn Fields Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date in September 2020. The starting salary at Lecturer Level will be Grade 5/6, in the range of £42,433 - £52,833 per annum inclusive of London Allowance, or if appointed at Senior Lecturer level, Grade 7 in the range of £55,840 - £62,415 per annum,
