Overview:

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Services Manager to take direct responsibility for managing the full range of teaching services and related administration for the staff and students registered on taught programmes in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS).  The post holder will also be responsible for leading and managing the teaching services administration team.

Applicants should be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) and must have experience of managing and developing a team of staff.  Considerable experience in developing and analysing policies and procedures is essential as well as the ability to make difficult decisions, often involving complex situations.  The role requires a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who also has the ability to balance competing pressures, deadlines and demands. Experience of strategic planning and resource management would be an advantage.

This is a full time, permanent post and is available for an immediate start. The salary will be in the range of £47,325 - £52,833 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, occupational pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
