The School of Languages, Linguistics and Film have an exciting opportunity for QMUL students and graduates as an internship to provide essential administrative support for the Pre-Sessional Summer Programme.

As an Administrative Assistant (Intern), working under the supervision of the Resources Manager, you will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including HR and Finance related tasks as well as preparing Welcome Packs for Pre-Sessional students. This will involve arranging interviews, meeting and greeting people, preparing payments, preparing Welcome Packs for students with good attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.

This internship is a great opportunity for you to:

  1. get a unique insight into the QMUL working environment
  2. work on the expanding Pre-Sessional Summer Programme
  3. relate and contribute to the student experience
  4. gain valuable transferable experience and responsibility to showcase on your CV

The post is full time (35 hours p/w) and available from 8th June to 9 September 2020. Salary will be around £5,553 for the full duration, (hourly rate based at £12.17). Benefits include 30 days annual leave (pro rata over the duration of the contract), pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
