About the Role
The Customers Services Team exists to provide an essential service to the Estates and Facilities Directorate. This is a team working on the Queens’ Reception, Switchboard and operating the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk system. They are often the first point of contact for issues/queries arising and should be able to resolve these independently or recommend alternative sources of assistance if necessary. The role will involve taking requests, logging jobs via the Ivanti Helpdesk system and operating the University Switchboard as well as greeting staff, students and visitors to QMUL
This post requires GCSE English and Maths, experience of reception or customer facing duties. Good organizational skills and excellent IT skills including MS packages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 2, in the range of £22,212 - £27,034 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
