About the Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity for an established pension professional to support the Payroll & Pensions Manager in the smooth delivery of the pension function. You will have responsibility for leading the administration of the USS, SAUL and NHS pension schemes for an organisation with over 6,000 employees.

You will lead on all aspects of pension administration and be actively involved in an upcoming review of the pensions function. You will help to shape the service going forward. We will expect the role holder to invest thought and time into the development of the service.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a passion for providing excellent customer service, an eye for continuous improvement and above all, a care for the delivery of a great service.

About You

You will be a pension professional with experience of leading the administration of the pension function for a large organisation. Your skill-set will include being highly organised and proactive, with excellent administration skills and eye for detail and accuracy. Additionally you will have strong communication skills, strong customer focus and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Excellent IT skills are also essential for this role, in particular Outlook, Excel and HR/Payroll systems (preferably Zellis Resource Link). Experience of working in a Higher Education environment would also be an advantage.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is being offered as a full time, fixed term appointment, with an expected start date to be confirmed. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,084 - £44,807 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
