Campus Customer Support are responsible for the provision of second line IT and AV support to the students and staff at Queen Mary University. In addition, Campus Customer Support are responsible for the provision and deployment of end user devices across all Queen Mary sites.


The Campus Support Asset and Configuration Officer will be a key part of the Campus Support Asset Provision team. The team are dedicated to providing end user devices, build and deploy, maintain stock levels and raise requests when stock levels dictate. The Asset Configuration Officer will assist with all aspects of the inventory control.


Using specialist expertise and knowledge of services provided to Queen Mary, the Campus Customer Support Asset and Configuration Officer is responsible for delivery of high quality, robust, resilient, responsive and secure, customer focused support. Working in line with current processes, procedures and SLA’s, the Asset and Configuration Officer will work closely with Customer Support Team leader, Campus Customer Support Technicians, Schools, Professional Services, Faculty Relationship Managers to ensure customer demands are met.


Building and configuring end user devices, ensuring accurate records are kept for deployment and hand over to the customer. Deskside installation is a pivotal part of the role, high levels of concentration are required along with customer focus resulting in customer satisfaction.   

The post is full time and permanent with an expected start as soon as possible. Starting salary will be in the grade 4 salary range of £34,220 to £40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
