We seek a Centre Manager to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Centre Lead, and other members of staff within the Centre for Experimental Medicine & Rheumatology, to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities to include aspects of administration from financial to human resources. The successful candidate will join a 70 strong research team of scientists and clinicians dedicated to Inflammation and Rheumatology Research.
The Centre for Experimental Medicine & Rheumatology opened in May 2007 and is led by Professor Costantino Pitzalis. The Centre is focused on the development of innovative therapeutic and diagnostic approaches to inflammatory and degenerative arthropathies, including rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis. The emphasis is on translational research by combining strengths and expertise of basic and clinician scientists working together. The Centre offers refurbished laboratories, cutting edge facilities and is located in the heart of the City of London in close proximity to the Barbican Arts and Music Centre.
The post is full-time (35 hours per week) and an indefinite contract. The starting salary will be £38,084 - £44,807 pro rata per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loan and family-friendly working.
