The Health and Safety Directorate provides Queen Mary University of London with competent health & safety and fire safety advice, training and support.
The Professional Services Health & Safety Manager & Training Lead role will be a professionally qualified role within the health & safety team, reporting to the Head of Health & Safety and working to support the development of service delivery and compliance with current and future health and safety legislation, professional standards and best practice.
Suitable applicants should have recent experience of health and safety risk management in organisation’s of a similar size and complexity to QMUL. As well as experience of developing & delivering health & safety training.
This post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range of £47,325 - £52,833 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
