Centre for Biomarkers & Biotherapeutics
Applications are sought for a Centre Administrator to provide administrative, budgetary and secretarial support to the Centre Lead and deputy Centre Lead, Laboratory or Centre Manager and other assigned members of staff in their execution of Centre-related tasks, and assisting in the planning and organisation of the centre’s activities. The post will be based in the Centre for Biomarkers & Biotherapeutics, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
Essential requirements for this post include GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalent including English and Maths. Significant secretarial/administrative experience, in a busy executive setting, as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines, is essential. Experience of financial and other record keeping would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.
The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range £34,220 - £40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and an interest free season ticket loan.
