The Student Enquiry Centre is a focused hub for student enquiries and is the front-of-house service for the Academic Registry and Mile End Admissions teams. The centre handles queries from current undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, in person, by telephone, email or through the helpdesk system. The team also handles face to face queries from graduates requesting duplicate degree award letters and transcripts, and from prospective students for prospectuses and general course enquiries
To work as part of a small team, committed to providing an excellent service to all its customers in the Student Enquiry Centre and also to assist in helping other Academic Registry teams during the busy periods.
Skills and Experience:
• Recent experience working within a Registry or similar environment in higher education
• Committed to providing an excellent service to students with recent experience of working in a busy and customer oriented environment
• Experience of using a computerised academic record keeping system, preferably SITS
The post is a full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range of £27,742 - £29,218 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
