An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled E-Learning Technologist with an interest in post-graduate education. This is an innovative post that will suit candidates with strong experience in the development of e-learning materials, and a good understanding of learning processes. The successful candidate will work alongside academic and administrative staff and another E-Learning Technologist, using technology to enhance teaching and learning through distance and blended delivery. Enriching the student experience is our highest priority. Thus the appointee will be closely involved in the running and effective use of the College’s virtual learning environment as part of a team.
The post involves ensuring state of the art delivery of our suite of courses, ensuring all materials are regularly updated, and presenting a cohesive learning experience using the latest advances in technology.
Good experience of working in Higher Education and administrative excellence are expected.
The post is a part-time post of 0.4 FTE (2 days per week) and fixed term for 2 years, although we are hoping to increase the post to 3 days a week anticipating new course development. Salary will be within the range of £38,084 - £44,807 per annum (pro rata) inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave (pro rata), a pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

The Centre for Psychiatry offers highly successful postgraduate programmes in Mental Healthcare.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
