Applications are sought for a Tissue Bank Operation Manager to provide operational oversight and day-to-day management of the Barts Cancer Institute Tissue Banks. The successful applicant will have significant experience in the organisation and running of a technical service. The research will be based in the Tissue Bank, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London.

Essential requirements for this post include thorough working knowledge of Human Tissue Act, Principles of Good Clinical Practice, General Data Protection Regulation and research governance framework legislation, together with the ability to disseminate the knowledge and information. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good records are also essential.

The post is full time and for one year. Starting salary will be in the range £38,084 - £44,807 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and an interest free season ticket loan.

The Barts Cancer Institute requires that applicants invited for interview will need to provide all certificates to confirm their qualifications (specified in the Job Description).
