Overview:

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to become part of the growing fundraising team of this Russell Group University which has embarked on a strategy process setting the institution’s goals until 2030.

The Directorate of Development and Alumni Engagement (DDAE) seeks to connect with former students (alumni) of the University and its predecessor institutions  and other potential supporters to identify and develop opportunities for increasing private gift income and other forms of giving such as alumni volunteering, in support of the strategic goals of the University.

The postholder will play a pivotal role in increasing philanthropic support at the University. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospective major donors to the University, building relationships and asking for the philanthropic support for agreed priorities.

We are looking for an individual with fundraising experience, an interest in higher education and with the ability to learn and adapt to a fast-changing working environment of a growing team.

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range £37,411 - £44,015 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
