Overview:

Careers & Enterprise sits within the Student and Academic Services Directorate and its aim is to develop the employability of Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) students and graduates by helping them to find and prepare for work, including internships and part-time jobs.

The Employer Engagement Assistant provides administrative support to the student work experience programmes – with a particular focus on supporting QMUL’s award-winning QConsult and QTaster programmes.

The post holder will undertake programme administration around student correspondence, recruitment, and marketing as well as coordinating assessment and training days. The post holder will also provide general information, administrative and marketing support to the wider Careers & Enterprise Team.

The role is full time at 35 hours per week and is a 10 month, fixed term contract. The salary will be in the range of £21,696 - £26,556 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Other benefits include 30 days’ annual leave pro rata and access to a pension scheme.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
