The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London invites applications from scholars of international distinction for appointment at Lecturer level in Finance.

The School is highly regarded as one of the top economics and finance departments in the UK.

The successful candidate must have a postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience, together with an appropriate track record of high quality research at a national and ideally international level, including publications in renowned journals. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of the School’s research strategies, to be active in attracting research income and to play a full role in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. All the appointments are full-time and permanent, but consideration will be given to candidates seeking part-time positions. Salaries are competitive and not less than £41,682 per annum.

In addition, this post attracts a market supplements and there is discretion to apply between 60% and 90% of salary depending on current market conditions.  Other benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, pension scheme and interest free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
