Applications are sought for two Clinical Fellows, one to work on renal and bladder cancer clinical trials working alongside Professor Thomas Powles and the other to work on breast cancer clinical trials working alongside Professor Peter Schmid; focusing on immune-oncology. The research will be based in the Centre for Experimental Cancer Medicine, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
The postholder must have a Medical degree from a recognised institution, GMC registration and Specialist registrar grade or below. Essential requirements for this post include relevant experience in bladder and renal cancer or breast cancer. Relevant lab or clinincal trial experience and experience of scientific data handling would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.
The post is full time for a year. Starting salary will be in the range (£32,569 - £60,589) per annum. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
The Barts Cancer Institute requires applicants to provide all certificates at interview to confirm their qualifications (specified in the Job Description).
