Overview:

Queen Mary University of London is recruiting for an Analyst (Returns and Student Number Planning) to contribute to planning and decision making across the university and to provide support within the Strategic Planning Office. The role will be pivotal in supporting external returns for HESA, HESES and Data Futures. The role will also provide substantial support to deliver the yearly Student Number Planning exercise.

This is an opportunity for an analyst with an appetite for learning and discovery to join a driven, dynamic team as we explore and implement ways for data to support a Russell Group institution which along with academic and research excellence, highly values diversity and social justice.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is highly numerate and skilled at analysing and interpreting data for audiences with varying levels of knowledge;
  • has experience, knowledge and understanding of UK HE external returns;
  • has a high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the University;
  • has the ability to integrate into an innovative and customer focused professional team.

The position is a permanent post. Starting salary will be in the range £33,615 to £39,483 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
