Clinical Senior Lecturer in (HCC) in Periodontology/Restorative Dentistry
The Institute of Dentistry is seeking to appoint to this Clinical Academic post to work alongside the Professor of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in the Institute’s newly established Centre for Oral Clinical Research. The Institute enjoys a lively, multi-disciplinary research environment and we are seeking to appoint staff to contribute to and develop our research activities, commensurate with the level of appointment. Candidates should therefore demonstrate strong potential, or have an established reputation, for high quality research.
The post holder will be expected to have a specialist interest in Restorative Dentistry/Periodontology/Prosthodontics and will contribute to the development of research in Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry. Additionally he/she will make a significant contribution to training and the provision of a specialist service in Restorative Dentistry/Periodontology/Prosthodontics.
An appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from Barts Health NHS Trust and the successful applicant will be expected to take part in all aspects of clinical governance activities.
This permanent full time post is available immediately. Appointment will be made on the salary scale for staff holding a new Honorary Consultant Contract depending on experience and seniority/threshold, plus London Allowance. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
