The Catering and Hospitality Service are looking to recruit professional, friendly, and helpful; customer focused Catering Assistants to work within the Catering Outlets and Hospitality Service. This will be working a variety of days, evening, weekends and split shifts predominantly covering Hospitality Events.
You must have a valid food hygiene certificate (to be presented at interview) as well as NVQ level 1 in Catering or experience of working in a catering or hospitality environment, knowledge of health and safety, COSHH and HACCAP procedures and a good command of written and spoken English.
Posts are permanent and both full time and part-time positions are available. The salary range is £19,039 - £19,855 per annum pro-rata plus a benefits package which includes 30 days annual leave, a pension scheme and also an interest-free season ticket loan after a qualifying period.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
