Applications are invited for the post of Postgraduate Education Administrator within the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research in the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. The Blizard Institute is the largest institute of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post holder will deliver high-level and professional support in the administration of all aspects of postgraduate taught programmes for the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research, with particular emphasis on the Reconstructive Microsurgery, Aesthetic Medicine and Burn Care programs, ensuring an effective and efficient delivery of service to prospective and current students and academic staff.

The post holder will have detailed knowledge and understanding of HE procedures, regulations and codes of practice, particularly relating to postgraduate taught and research programmes. They will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently to prioritise a varied workload, working accurately under pressure to achieve business deadlines. Previous experience of working in a student facing role and using an e-learning platform are desirable.

The post is full time and will be appointed for 1 year in the first instance. Starting salary will be in the range £33,615 - £39,483 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
