The post holder will play an important role in the implementation of QMUL’s Global Engagement strategy which has an aim to increase the number and quality of post graduate research students at the university, especially those that are self-funded or funded by third parties.  A significant part of the role will involve the development and management of productive relationships with overseas sponsors of students.

The post holder must have experience of working or undertaking research within higher education in the UK.  Experience of student recruitment, marketing, admissions or PGR administration along with an ability to demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of recruiting PGR students from the UK and internationally.

This post is available as a result of maternity leave absence, and it is expected that you will hold it for the full period. However, should the post-holder on maternity leave exercise her right to return to work earlier, then this appointment will be terminated, subject to a notice period of one month.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
