The Centre for Commercial Law Studies is a leading research Centre and hosts internationally excellent institutes in the fields of international trade, information technology law and international dispute resolution.  We are currently looking for 2 post-doctoral research assistants to participate and actively contribute to ongoing and new research projects in the fields of international trade, law and technology and international arbitral tribunals. The candidates should be able to demonstrate ability to conduct research taking a variety of methodological approaches, including doctrinal, theoretical and empirical. Experience or background in social science research would be desirable, especially for the position on international arbitral tribunals.

 The candidates should also be able to take an active role in the dissemination and impact activities, such as organization of conferences, engagement with non-academic stakeholders and use of social media.  They should be able to demonstrate that they can work well under supervision, within a research team as well as independently, and they should have excellent research, writing and organizational skills.

This post is full time and the starting salary will be in the range of £33,615 - £39,483 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
