The Department of Law are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Family Law, to teach LLB. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Department.
Candidates should have an excellent academic background, hold a PhD in Law. Experience of teaching family law at undergraduate, excellent communication and organisational skills, are also essential.
The successful candidate will also be expected to teach in a core subject. The department has particular need in the following areas: Land, Equity and Criminal.
The post is a full time, permanent position. Starting salary will be in the range £41,682-£44,015 pro rata, per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, an interest-free season ticket loan, and a defined benefit pension scheme.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
