This role provides the day to day administration, operational delivery and customer enquiries for venue bookings under 50 people into the Kinetics computer system. This enables the Commercial Events team to provide a single point of contact for customer enquiries, issues and monitoring of the usage along with making arrangements directly with our cleaning, portering, catering, maintenance and security departments.
The post holder will be working in a busy, fast paced customer and commercially driven office environment with direct contact with staff, students and the general public.
There will also be a requirement to undertake some operational meet and greet duties to ensure a positive experience for all clients and event attendees by providing on-site supervision of events and trouble-shooting where necessary.
The post is required to support the Commercial Events team to develop and prepare events throughout the year along with residential commercial accommodation bookings for Summer Group programmes, Bed & Breakfast with room hire for 1200-1400 bedrooms including classrooms, social facilities, catering along with the financial administration for the commercial handover of the summer periods.
The post is required to assist the Commercial Sales and Events Manager with sales campaigns by identifying, through research and enquiry, appropriate new client leads to be developed by the Commercial Sales Executives.
The post is full-time and permanent. The salary will be in the range of £21,696 – £26,556 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and an interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
