Research Nurse - CATAPULT Trial

We are seeking a Research Nurse with experience in Tuberculosis to join our team on the CATAPULT Trial (Completion and Acceptability of Treatment Across Primary Care and the community for Latent Tuberculosis - ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT03069807). The trial is funded by Barts Charity and is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic TB Nurse to work with a group of experts in Tuberculosis on a large clinical trial.
The CATAPULT Trial is a cluster randomised control trial evaluating treatment completion (the primary outcome), uptake, acceptability, safety and cost-effectiveness of latent TB infection in migrants in primary care, compared with secondary care. The trial is recruiting at the Shrewsbury Road Chest Clinic in Newham, and GP surgeries and community pharmacies across the borough of Newham.
The post-holder will work alongside the trial research fellow, the trial coordinator, statisticians, computer programmers and support staff in the Unit and collaborating clinicians in Newham hospital, general practices and community pharmacies in Newham.
The post is full time and fixed term to 30 April 2019 starting in mid-September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. Starting salary will be in the range of £32,956 to £38,709 per annum including London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave per annum, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
