Research Manager- Wingate Group

Applications are invited for the post of Research Manager within the Centre for Neuroscience and Trauma in the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. The Blizard Institute is the largest institute of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The Research Manager is responsible for the effective management of all research activities requiring support, including the development and implementation of the Wingate research group and impact strategy. The post holder will ensure there is a supportive research environment, both for academic staff and research students; working with academic on impact cases particularly evidence gathering and embedding in research applications.

The post is full time and available immediately for 12 months. Starting salary will be in the range £45,577 - £55,291 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
