Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Queen Mary University of London’s (QMUL’s) Directorate of Marketing and Communications as part of the UK Student Recruitment team.


Reporting to the Head of UK Student Recruitment, the post-holder will contribute towards the University meeting its UK undergraduate student recruitment targets by supporting a series of activities including Open Days, Offer Holder Days, UCAS Exhibitions and presentations at schools and colleges.  In particular, the post-holder will be responsible for implementing the schools’ targeting strategy by building strong relationships with key target schools, ensuring QMUL effectively recruits students of the highest intrinsic talent and potential from a variety of backgrounds.

 

We are searching for someone with excellent presentation skills and the ability to network with a variety of stakeholders.  The post-holder should also be comfortable analysing complex datasets in order to monitor and evaluate the efficacy of the schools’ targeting strategy. 

 

The starting salary will be £36,677 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include generous annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
