POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to undertake research in epigenetic regulation of haematological malignancies within the Centre for Haemato-Oncology. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Molecular, Cellular or Developmental Biology or similar and an undergraduate degree in a biological subject. The research will be based in the Centre for Haemato-Oncology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London.
Essential requirements for this post include knowledge of epigenetic genome regulation and laboratory experience in nuclear dynamics and genome biology. Experience with NextGen sequencing (including ChIP-Seq) would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.
The post is full time for 2- 3 years depending on start date. Starting salary will be in the range £32,405 - £38,062 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, a defined benefit pension scheme and an interest free season ticket loan.
