The School of Mathematical Sciences comprises of 74 academic staff and associate lecturers, 16 research assistants and 13 members of professional services staff. The School is home to around 90 PhD students, and approximately 1,000 undergraduates and 100 master level students.  Recently, £18M was invested in the School’s building transformation project to provide state-of-the-art research, teaching, and study facilities for staff and students.

About the role

Applications are invited for a fixed-term Lectureship (Teaching and Scholarship) in Mathematics. The successful applicant will have teaching experience appropriate to the level of appointment and will be expected to have the ability and flexibility to teach across a wide range of topics in mathematics, in particular modules involving at least one of the following areas: probability, financial mathematics or statistics. Pay & Benefits

The post is full-time and fixed term, starting as soon as possible and until 30 June 2023. Starting salary will be £42,433 inclusive of London Allowance.
