About the Role

We are seeking a project manager (maternity cover) interested in taking on a challenging role with considerable scope for independent personal growth. In addition to managing infrastructure and resources to support progresses within the Marino Research Group, the successful candidate will be expected to provide technical support to the research team, train new lab members, as well as partake in writing grants, budget planning/management and liaising with our collaborators, including clinical partners.

About You

Applicants should have a BSc or equivalent in relevant biological sciences, be motivated, self-driven and able to work in a diverse group including experimental, computational and clinical researchers.

About the Institute

The Blizard Institute is the largest of seven Institutes within Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. The Institute provides a stimulating scientific environment and state of the art infrastructure and facilities. It comprises approximately 400 staff and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute delivers excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is full time, fixed term appointment for 9 months based at the Whitechapel Campus in London, to start as soon as possible. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,220 - £37,076 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
