The post holder will have Minimum of 2 A’ Levels in relevant subjects (or equivalent qualification), or equivalent professional experience, a Higher Education qualification(s) or extensive work experience in a scientific/technical role. The post-holder will also have experience of venepuncture, consenting skills and a valid, in-date GCP Certificate.
The successful candidate will also have experience of working within the William Harvey Heart Centre previously and have experience working on cardiovascular studies within the unit.

As one of the largest of the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s six Institutes, the William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI), based at QMUL’s Charterhouse Square campus, is a world leading Pharmacological Centre with a vibrant, multidisciplinary research and education environment devoted to therapeutic innovation in cardiovascular, endocrine and inflammatory diseases.
The William Harvey Heart Centre specialises in delivering clinical trials to patients in the following specialities: Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Dementia, & Neurological Disorders.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 3 months, with an expected start date of October 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £28,208 - £34,733 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
