Overview:

Applications are invited for a part-time Research Technician post within the world-renowned William Harvey Research Institute at Bart’s and The London Medical School, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). The position is within the Centre for Endocrinology, composed of >60 staff. The Centre is based within the picturesque Charterhouse Square Campus of QMUL in the heart of City of London.

The successful candidate will support projects around understanding the role of G-protein coupled receptors in physiology and disease.

The post is part-time (17.5 hours per week) for 15 months. Starting salary will be £33,324 (pro-rata) per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
