Are you tired of working 70 hour weeks in hospitality, including every weekend?


Well this could be what you are looking for – 35 hours per week, hardly any weekends, 30 days annual leave and much more!


We are looking for a highly driven, organised and student focused person to be part our Commercial Team at QMSU. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a variety of different tasks across 3 campuses, with a particular focus on driving Drapers, our Bar & Kitchen based at Mile End.


The Bar Manager should have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to manage our 800 capacity multi-purpose licensed premises. We are looking for a ‘hands on’ approachable leader who is committed to the values of the organisation, being a safe, friendly environment with the student experience at its core.


With an expected start date in early October. Starting salary will be in the range of £28,208 - £30,445 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.


Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
