Applications are invited for the post of Finance Administrator on a permanent and full time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team for QMUL Malta Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Malta campus. The post holder will work within the Professional Services team and will provide high quality finance guidance, advice and administrative services to senior management, line managers, and other colleagues in the School.
The role will work closely with the Director of Operations; Operations Manager; the Deputy Dean for Education; Curriculum Operations and Quality Manager; and the Head of Finance (London) SMD; and deliver a high quality, professional and responsive finance service; managing a range of financial processing and systems. The successful candidate will support and enhance financial practices and the interpretation and implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
The incumbent will use their experience and knowledge of financial processes to support and provide appropriate and timely advice and guidance to managers and external stakeholders in an effective and dynamic way.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role within an education or customer focused environment. They will have a strong commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service, with broad experience of administration of finance processes and operational support. Additionally, they will be customer oriented and able to assess and deal with a range of situations in a professional manner and able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders of all levels.
This post will be employed by QMUL Malta Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Queen Mary University of London and will be based in Malta. The post is full-time and based upon a notional 35 hrs per week. The salary is €29,000 per annum. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave.
