About the Role
This is a post integral to the smooth running of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games & Game Intelligence (IGGI). The postholder will work in support of the QMUL IGGI Research Programme Manager to assist in key aspects of the Centre’s management. They will provide administrative support to approximately 30 IGGI PhD students based at QMUL including support for student admissions, training and progression, and updating of the student handbook.
You must be educated to GCSE level and should have experience of administrative procedures and processes, and working in a busy office environment as part of a team. Organising and servicing events and meetings are an important part of this role, and you must therefore be able to work to deadlines and handle multiple duties whilst balancing and prioritising your workload. Prior experience of working in HE, particularly supporting research students, would be an advantage.

The post is based at Mile End and Whitechapel in London. It is a part time (17.5 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 5 years, and is available for an immediate start. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £27,742-£34,220 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
