We are recruiting to the role of Senior Communications Officer (Library Services). This role is responsible for supporting the strategic approach to, and delivery of, communications and engagement between Queen Mary’s Library Services and our diverse University community with the goal of continually improving the understanding and perception of Library spaces, services and expertise.
Library Services is a major part of the Student and Academic Services Directorate, with libraries and study spaces located at three of Queen Mary’s campuses, responsibility for the university archives, and with a strong online presence.
This is an exciting time to join Library Services at Queen Mary, as we embark on an ambitious transformation programme to rapidly evolve and build a culture of diversity, service excellence and continuous improvement to achieve Queen Mary’s strategic goals.
This role is based in the Internal Communications team within the Marketing and Communications Directorate. The team is responsible for delivering strategic and operational communications that support, inform and engage the Queen Mary community. Working closely with key staff and student stakeholders across the University, the team is responsive, forward-thinking and creative.
The role is full time and offered on an indefinite basis. The starting salary will be £34,733 - £40,797 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
