Admissions sits within the Marketing and Communications Directorate, which is responsible for ensuring we recruit to target with appropriately qualified applicants across all our courses and offerings, and for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences.
We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Director of Admissions. You will provide strategic leadership on all aspects of student admissions across the University, managing teams in our UK and overseas campuses, and ensuring the applicants are front and centre of everything you do. You will be joining at a time when there is substantial change on the horizon for admissions, and during a period of ever-increasing applicant numbers. Your strong strategic leadership and ambition will enable us to positively respond to these challenges, embrace latest technologies to drive service improvements, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
This is a pivotal role which will play a key part in delivering our ambitions to grow. We are therefore looking for candidates with significant senior level experience of working in the admissions field and championing admission policy. Additionally, you will have a track record of delivering complex, large-scale operations and projects and transforming services through the development of processes, systems, and resources. An inspirational leader of teams, you will bring strong people and persuasion skills allowing you to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Ambitious and forward thinking, you will be used to identifying and successfully capitalising on opportunities and technological advances in a rapidly changing sector.
