About the Role

We are seeking an insightful and motivated Enquiry Services Manager to oversee all service points and to provide consistent and well-coordinated services for enquiries in person, online, via email and telephone.  You will work closely with the Head of Frontline Services and two other managers. A focus in the next 12 months will be embedding improved policies and procedures, reviewing different areas following a three-year plan and delivering staff training mapped to excellent core services for the students.

This is a varied role with a strong element of inter-professional working and liaison, as well as collaborative working among different teams in library services. As part of establishing updated services, you will assist the teams in reviewing policies, remits, and standard procedures.

The post is permanent with an immediate start date. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,655 - £45,479per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

 

About You

You will have excellent communication skills, excel at maintaining composure under pressure and have the ability to forge successful working relationships across teams and groups. You will be educated to degree level and hold a professional qualification in Librarianship / Information Science or a related discipline or be qualified by experience at progressively higher levels. You will have significant experience of working in a higher education library.
