The successful candidate will be part of the Cleaning Services team and be required to provide a high standard cleaning service to Queen Mary’s buildings and to deliver a professional and customer focused service to staff, students and visitors.
Applicants should hold GCSE English or equivalent and have a good command of the English language both written and verbally. You will be required to be able to carry out manual handling tasks and good customer communication and care skills. The role requires experience working as part of a customer focused team and knowledge of health and safety practices in relation to cleaning tasks.
The post is part time (20 hours per week), permanent appointment. Starting salary will be in the range of £22,781 - £24,362 per annum, pro rata, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave (pro rata), pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
